| Panel of Judges for the competition. "You did an outstanding job this year", said spectators as they are walking out after the competition. "It was a very tough decision to make, the top two competitors were showing remarkable performance tonight with no drops", said Mr. Frank Fauolo, Judge from Salt Lake, Utah. |

| There is no Samoan Cultural Event without the Word of an Orator (Failauga), accompany by a Taupou (Iris), and the Soga'imitis. |

| Then, the drums sounded and fire is everywhere. It is a beautiful scene. Some of the competitors were from as far as Korea, Florida, Samoa and California. |

| Competitor from Korea, Kim Taeyoung is featuring here. Years passed competitors from Tahiti, Cook Island, Tonga, Japan, Samoa, and US Mainland traveled to Hawai'i to compete. |

| Usually on the Saturday before the starting of the World Fire Knife Dance Competition, is the Samoa Festival Day Students from many high schools around the State and sometime from the Mainland USA gether to competeting in cultural activities and talents. |

| Le Taualuga, there is no taualuga without the dollar from families and friends to walk to the floor or to the basket. |

| University of Hawaii and BYU-Hawai'i took part in the celebration too. |
